Legal bases and purposes for processing

Processing for the purposes of managing and following up requests for information is based on the firm’s legitimate interest in managing contact requests from its customers and prospects.
Processing for the management of unsolicited applications is based on the steps to be taken at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.

Data storage period

For information requests, data will be kept for the time required to process the request. For recruitment requests, data will be kept for the time required to analyse and respond to the candidate, plus 2 years for rejected candidates (unless the candidate requests that the data be deleted), and for the duration of the contractual relationship, plus statutory limitation periods, for successful candidates.

Data recipients

The data collected are intended for HMN & PARTNERS’ authorised departments and its IT service providers.

Your rights

Under the conditions defined in the Data Protection Act 78-17 of 6 January 1978 and the European General Data Protection Regulation, you have a right of access, to rectification, to erasure and a right to restriction of processing, and to data portability in relation to your data.

 

You have also the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of your personal data which is based on the legitimate interests pursued by HMN & PARTNERS.

 

If you exercise your right to object, HMN & PARTNERS will no longer process your personal data for the processing concerned unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

 

You also have the right to give special instructions on how your personal data should be stored, erased and shared after your death. When you send a request to exercise a right, you must identify yourself by any means. If there is any doubt about your identity, HMN & PARTNERS may ask for any additional information deemed necessary, including a photocopy of an identity document bearing the signature of the data subject.
