Co-founder of the law firm Honig Buffat Mettetal in 1979, he was senior partner of the law firm HPMBC Clyde & Co in Paris that was created further to two successive mergers:
- in 2001 between Honig Buffat Mettetal and Duprey Preel Coulon (named HPMBC)
- thereafter in May 2002 with the international law firm Clyde & Co.
